USSR. Musical comedy TV Movie. Original title: Printsessa tsirka. When a Prince is ignored by the young widow, Princess Feodora, he plans revenge by paying a masked acrobat, "Mister X", to pretend to be a nobleman to woo and marry her, so that she will be disgraced in society as "the circus princess."
At 0:02:37, there is a large opening production number with
four 3 club jugglers,
2 on each side of a long stairway, seen for 14 seconds, during which someone appears at the top of the stairs juggling 3 torches. This is seen again at 0:04:33 for another 16 seconds.
At 0:21:22, a juggler is seen in the background
juggling 4 rings
on and off for 34 seconds.
At 1:10:35, a man and a woman each do simple
hat and plate spinning
for 42 seconds.
At 1:43:47, a woman
juggles 3 clubs
for 6 seconds.
At 1:53:43, there is a reprise of the production number, this time with
six 3 club jugglers, 3 on each side of the stairway, and a man appears
at the top of the stairs and proceeds to
juggle 5 clubs
as he descends the stairway. Another 3 club juggler follows him.
This entire sequence lasts over a minute.
