Argentina. Original title: Había una vez un circo. A girl named Andrea falls ill and only wants one thing: the circus. So her father convinces the circus artists to come perform at his house so the girl can get better, and they do. The father, a widower, wants to marry Carla, a frivolous woman who is only interested in his money. He tells his daughter that the wedding is coming soon and that he will be going on a honeymoon trip across Europe. Andrea gets angry because she wants to go too but can't. After that, the girl runs away from home to the circus. The father, after finding his daughter, reflects on his behavior and decides not to marry, but ultimately decides to marry Aurelia. Upon learning of this, Carla's brother decides to kidnap the girl to demand ransom. Faced with this situation, the circus clowns decide to intervene in the situation and rescue the girl.
