The Show Goes On (1936)

[Anna Neagle, Tullio Carminati, Leslie Banks, Horace Hodges, Arthur Finn]

Original title: The Three Maxims. Story centers on Neagle, Carminati, and Banks, a trapeze act called The Three Maxims that is the main attraction of a French traveling circus. Banks is in love with Neagle, but when he declares his affections, she admits that she's in love with Carminati. This leads to jealousy within the act, a dangerous commodity in the trapeze business. The circus milieu is used well in this otherwise routine drama.

At 36:10, while making a brief speech at a dinner party, Gaston Palmer juggles 5 balls for 3 seconds.
