USSR. Original title: Dve ulybki. This film consists of two funny stories that take place at the end of WWII. The first is called "Curly" and takes place in Budapest in February 1945. In the basement of the house where the platoon commander Kapustin, a former circus artist, has his office, he meets a fellow Hungarian actor who does not know a word of Russian. But for these guys, the language barrier means nothing and they find a common language. The second story is called "Grandma in the Circus," about the director's grandmother who did not like the circus, but nevertheless went there out of love for her grandson.
