"New Juggling Tricks"
ELLIS STANYON, 1901
This little book, consisting of twenty one pages of text and three of
advertisements (which I have not reproduced) was probably the first
publication entirely devoted to juggling in the western tradition. In
preparing an HTML version of Stanyon's "New Juggling Tricks" I have
tried to stay as close as possible to the source. I have retained
Stanyon's spelling and punctuation, approximated the original layout,
and have only corrected a few obvious typographical errors. After
some consideration, I have retained Stanyon's single use of the word
"niggers" - this is a historic document, and it is important to view
history as it really was, and not as we would like it to have been. -
