Let me know what you think, and send additions/corrections/clarifications. Also, do people want this to be stored at moocow and/or posted regularly? I don't really know how to upload and maintain something at an ftp site, so I would need instructions. There is an analogous file posted monthly on alt.magic, which includes a line called "Information provided by", but the whole thing gets really long. Do folks want to be credited? Throughout the list I'm indebted to everyone who sent info, sometimes to the point of using their descriptions. I also had a lot of fun guessing at the dates, but let me know of the ones you are certain of so I can firm them up. -Ben ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cinematic Juggling Updated 4/7/93 54 films Contributed by the readers of rec.juggling Compiled by Ben Schoenberg (send updates to benjamin@math.washington.edu) JUGGLING IN THE MOVIES: "The Addams Family" (1991) The Passing Zone duo were stand-ins for Lurch and Fester passing six unweighted prop knives. Fields also does things like tricks with canes in other films. In "Westworld" (or its sequel) isn't there juggling in the medieval section? Is there juggling in "The Flying Wallendas"? How about "Big Top Pee-Wee"? MISCELLANEOUS STUFF: "The Juggling Fool" (1938) is a seven minute short starring Bobby May. "Chalk Dust" (1990) is a 14 minute short starring Rick Rubenstein of Clockwork. (Ok, I confess, it was just my Filmmaking I 8mm class project. But he does juggle in it!)
